Iron Infusion Preparation Information
Location
Runcorn Plaza Family Medical Practice is located in the Runcorn Plaza Shopping Complex at 1/258 Warrigal Road, Runcorn.
Parking
There is free on-site parking for patients.
Initial Consult
There is an initial consultation required with the doctor to determine whether the Iron Infusion is the best way to go for you.
Generally the Doctor will ask you to have some Pathology tests done to determine this. If this is the case, the Doctor will then issue you a prescription
to purchase the Iron Injection from any of your local Pharmacies.
Booking
When booking for the Iron Infusion, please let reception staff know so that they can book you with the Doctor as well as the Nurse.
Arrival
Please arrive 10 minutes early to your appointment time at the medical centre so that it gives us an opportunity to complete consent forms and any missing details
that are required.
Please make sure to bring your Injection with you on the day of your appointment.
Duration
The duration of the procedure can be anywhere between 30mins to 1 hour, therefore please allocate your time accordingly.
Cost
Our fee for the Iron Infusion is $175 for Weekdays and $200 on Weekends. Please note this is an out-of-pocket fee.
